Our logo represents the 2 main railroad lines passing through Hamilton and the Waikato River. The lines are the North Island main trunk (from the letter "H" to "M") and the East Coast line (at right angles). Hamilton has New Zealand's largest railroad yard, and is the north terminal of the Main Trunk line electrification. It also sees regular visits by steam powered excursion trains. A great place for railfanning!
